Transactions Work Area

An interface transaction and monitoring work area becomes available by selecting Transactions under the Interface name in the Navigation Pane.

The Transactions Directory in the Navigation Pane

The Execution Transactions work area opens. It follows the general IConduct platform design. For further information on toolbar options, sorting and grouping options and search capabilities, see Introducing the Home Page .

Each execution line is marked in color. The color of the line depends on the interface execution result - error/success/failure:

  • Errors lines are red.
  • Successes are marked in green.
  • Failures are marked in yellow.

The Execution >Transactions Work Area

The Execution Transaction table provides the following information:

Fields Description Comments

Start Time

The exact date and time when the specific interface execution began.

End Time

The exact date and time when the specific interface execution ended.

Duration

The length of time for the interface execution.

Executed By

The IConduct platform user who initiated the interface execution.

Errors (E)

Indicates the number of rows in the Schema that experienced an error.

The line is red.

Example: The end point is unreachable.

Success (S)

Indicates the number of steps that succeeded.

The line is green.

Failures (F)

Number of failures in the interface execution. Failures denote errors that are known and managed.

The line is yellow. In some non-critical cases, the interface execution will continue despite the failures.

Example: An action attempt without filling in a mandatory field.

Time waited (T)

The length of time the interface waited before execution.

Trackable Parameters in the Transactions Section

The Trackable Parameters allow tracing the interface execution by different parameters in the transaction log. Use the Filter to include the interfaces by the parameter and its specific value.

  1. Select the required parameter from the Parameter drop-down list.
  2. Define the parameter value in the Value box.
  3. Click Filter.

The filtered list of interfaces appears in the Execution transactions.
